Current Route Updates

As of January 1st, 2023, route updates will be sent to customer provided e-mails and/or text numbers.

10/9/22: In observation of Columbus Day, the Richland County Landfill will be closed Monday, October 10th, 2022.  Therefore, your route will run on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022.  Please pull your carts as normal, as we will be starting very early Tuesday morning so we can make up Monday. Thank you and have a great evening!

09/08/22:  The business office will be closed Friday, September 9th, 2022.  We will return to the office Monday, September 12th, 2022.  Thank you!

09/01/22: Route Alerts were sent out to the provided text numbers and e-mails 8/31/22 to the customers whose routes will be different next week. The Richland County landfill will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 5th, 2022.  Wishing you all a wonderful weekend with family and friends!

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 07.18.22: Carts and Dumpsters, including residential and commercial shops, will NOT be collected if they have considerable amounts of unbagged garbage, lumber, metal or carcasses. We ask that you refer to the company policies that were sent out Nov. 2021 and May 2022.  This past week someone disposed of a skunk carcass, which caused us to pull off route, offload at the landfill and return to the yard to clean the truck. Because of policies not being followed, it causes us to run behind with route schedules. Regarding the route schedule, it remains every other week for all 9 routes. With the cost of diesel and truck maintenance we feel this is a better option, rather than raising our rates. If you have any questions, please calls us 406.776.2334.  Thank you, Troy and Vicky Prevost

07/08/22 Good Morning!!  Route Status for South of Savage and Sidney Circle to Lambert Customers We will be there today!  Route Status for Culbertson HWY Customers that haven't been collected yet; we will be there this evening into tomorrow. Be Safe and have a great weekend everyone!

07/02/22 Good Morning and Happy 4th of July!  Policy reminder: Oil field pigs and any other oil field related materials are NOT ALLOWED in the dumpsters/carts/trucks or the Richland County Landfill.  The landfill scans our loads for the radioactive materials that can be present on these items. This week, the last two loads had oil field pigs in them. Going forward, the landfill will not accept our load if detected, which means we have nowhere to off load which presents a whole different set of issues.  If ANY oil field material is found it will result in immediate termination and a $500.00 dollar fine to the account holder. If you have any questions, please contact us.  Also, this coming week there will be NO changes to the routes for Savage, Crane, Fox Creek, Sidney Circle, Lambert, Fairview and Culbertson.

03/10/22 ALL ROUTE UPDATE:

After much thought and careful consideration, starting March 14th, 2022 all routes will be on an every other week collection schedule.  Due to the current circumstances with the trucks and the rising cost of diesel, this is something we have to do. Savage, Crane, Fox Creek, Sidney Circle, Lambert, Fairview and Culbertson customers collection week of March 14th, 2022 and then every other week following.

Sidney Area and Squaw Gap customers collection week of March 21st, 2022 and then every other week following.  Please know that this is temporary, and this has not been an easy decision to make. Thank you for your understanding and if you have any questions, please give us a call.

02/20/22 Miller's Garbage Feb. 21, 22 update:

Monday the landfill is closed. Continue to pull carts as normal, even though routes will continue to be altered.  We will continue running most hours of the day and night. We are actively truck looking, but no luck to date.  Please note, we may end up having to go every other week with most customers until a second truck is found, so we aren't running into troubles with the current truck and having the time for maintenance.  We will get to you and any extra garbage as well. If you have other containers for your overflow, please use them.  If access to dumpsters & carts have been slick, for safety we have not been collecting. For route questions call 406.690.2461 & for account questions call 406.776.2334. If we don't answer right away, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We are doing everything we can to get things moving smoothly again and we have an abundance of appreciation for each of you! Please be safe and never hesitate to reach out to us!  Thank you!

01/14/22 4:20 pm Route update:

We are still working on getting routes caught up and still running in the night as well.  The other truck is officially down so we will continue to share the one truck. With the landfill schedule and holiday thin coming Monday, we have no where to off load now until Tuesday morning at 7:30 am. We are trying to come up with a solution for the off loading. As well as working on having a second truck.  Again, we can't express how sorry we are for the delay in pick up and please know we feel your frustration.  if you need to please feel free to call 406.776.2334.

01/12/22 4:15 pm Route update:

Unfortunately, this afternoon we had a truck transmission act up and is down until we get parts in. Therefore, we will be sharing the one truck for the remaining routes. Please note, this means we will be running 24/7 to get the remaining routes completed starting Wednesday night through Friday.  Also, please note the Richland County Landfill will be closed Monday, January 17th, 22 in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Therefore, routes may end up a day off.  Be safe out there!

01/02/22 6:18 pm

Things just aren't working in our favor.  We are hoping that we will still turn a corner this evening, but wanted you to be aware of what is happening.

01/02/22

By the days end, we should be ready to roll! Which means, we will be running late and early hours the next few days to get caught up!  We are going to get as much done as we can Sunday night through Tuesday night before the anticipated cold snap Wednesday.  Everyone with carts, please have your cart rolled out, if it is not already, by this evening. Extra garbage will be taken care of, please set it off to the side away from your cart or dumpster. Avoid putting it in front or leaned up against your cart or dumpster.  Please Be Safe out there!
